Welcome to my blog

Hello,

Welcome to my blog! Haha! I always wanted to say that. I’m Candace or my friends call me Can. I’m a full-time working mama and this is my way to share some of the many things I love besides my career.

Still, despite my love of my profession, there have been a number of times during my career when my passion has waned and I’ve found myself simply going through the motions instead of fully applying myself to my work. This scenario is likely familiar to many of my fellow healthcare workers. It is called burnout. Working in healthcare can be challenging and emotional at the same time as we enter this new age of high-volume cancer diagnosis. I see this everyday over and over again.

Burnout is a very real challenge that we face as professionals. The same processes that help us complete projects successfully can also contribute to us falling into a routine and hitting autopilot on our work. Sometimes, an overload of work can force you to fall into a routine and become a production line in order to meet deadlines. Other times, a lack of variety and excitement can lead to apathy with burnout not far behind.

Whenever I have started to experience burnout in my career, thankfully I have recognized the situation and been able to work to resolve the problem.

In this blog, I will share some of what I have found helpful in rekindling my passion for inspiring others and share my knowledge through my blog. Whether it be from marriage, motherhood, fashion, photography, cancer 101 tips, best product shares I’m here to share with you.

If anyone can understand my feelings of burnout, or needing an outlet this is my way through this lifestyle blog.  Sometimes, simply talking to others is the catalyst I need to break out of the daily professional life and get excited about other interests and passions I love to share.

I want to hear from you! Can anyone relate?
