Pregnancy in a Nutshell
Hi Preggos and Non- Preggos,
I’m here to share my 36 weeks of pregnancy that is exactly 223 days of pregnancy. Well, its getting close and this is baby number 2 for me. When they say all pregnancies are different I feel its so true.
1st Trimester: This pregnancy started off with nausea and did not stop until 16 weeks. I threw up everyday in the shower or at work. Did I mention yes I work full-time in the healthcare industry and love it. Ok well not when I’m pregnant and sick lol. I had many trips to the bathroom at work. I’m sure my co-workers heard me and I was so embarrassed. I loved to eat buffalo wing sauce at this point or any kind of fruit I can get my hands on it helped the nausea. I tried to stay hydrated with coconut water as well. I did not cook at all I could not bear to look or touch raw meat made me so sick. In the 1st trimester I only gained 5-6 pounds. Back pain had kicked in full-effect. My Doctor visits went well and the ultrasound tech told me I was having a girl she was 100% sure. I thought it was to early to tell but she insisted. During this trimester I really was tired and had no energy so I really vegged a lot which is hard for me because I’m always on the g
2nd Trimester– By this time, I started to gain my energy back and started to feel sexy and good. I had a pretty good size bump as this was my 2nd time around. I had all sorts of cravings more veggies than meat. I thought I was becoming a vegan lol! I guess it what the baby wanted. I took a trip to the Bahamas around month 5 it was so fun and relaxing. Before we left I found out what we were having. This is where we did our gender reveal on the beach. Turns out it was a BOY!! Yes a BABY BOY! The family was happy and so were hubby and I. The only thing is I feel this baby is a little neglected as I did not buy him as much stuff as I did with my 1st. Maybe I was being lazy but it makes me feel bad. Hope someone can relate or did the same.
3rd Trimester- WOW feeling great except I got low iron. So I really had top change around my diet and be mindful of what I ate. Hey, it worked my iron is back up to normal. The baby at this point is very active so sleep is hard for me when you are getting poked every minute. We took our last trip of a family of 3 down to Florida. It was so needed. The beach is my happy place for sure! My sex life this trimester is non-existent —-let me repeat non existent I just feel like his head is so low, I’m huge the sex appeal is just gone for me. My hubby is not happy about it but he knows the deal. I feel like if we do it I may have the baby early and I still have lots to get done.
So this was my experience I know some of you have had the same type of things or even different I would love you to share your thoughts/experiences!
